Francisco joins UCAP as a Senior Managing Director providing investment advice to international, U.S. and cross-border high net worth clients (UHNW). In addition, he takes on an executive role to further develop our investment products platform and work with our global network of affiliates and partners to create solutions that enhance the Client and Advisor experience. This includes assessing new fintech tools to provide our clients and advisors cutting edge solutions. Creating innovative solutions is nothing new to Francisco who began his career with Merrill Lynch International in 1985 where his team launched the first “offshore team client coverage model” widely used in the industry today. He sat on Advisory Boards to Management in products and technology, was a PIM program certified discretionary asset manager, and advised on multiple novel products launched into the offshore market. He later held the title Managing Director at Wells Fargo Advisors until they exited the international business earlier this year.

Francisco is joined by his two longtime registered assistants Ana Maria Moreno, who has collaborated with him since 1985, and Alma Estrada who joined him at Wells Fargo in 2016. Together they have over 85 years of industry experience in providing clients with high level advice and service.

“This is an exciting time in the wealth management industry, and I am thrilled to have joined UCAP. I believe our global affiliate network is second to none in advancing effective cross-border client solutions both for our clients and for the clients of the RIAs, BDs, and Family Offices we support through our B2B platform. Our industry is facing significant changes driven by traditional headwinds like regulatory, tax, monetary or fiscal policies and secular ones like Defi, blockchain, crypto, and NFT’s. As a boutique firm that can deliver cross-border solutions quickly, we are embracing these changes, and are advising our clients on them.”

Sixto Campano, CEO of UCAP Group (USA) said: “We are very excited that Francisco has joined the UCAP team. Francisco is a highly principled and seasoned veteran in the international wealth management business who is bringing not only his years of experience but also new ideas. We look forward to his significant contributions to the development of UCAP.”
